Jaye Eisinger (they/them) is a Caucasian demisexual non-binary person who lives in Indiana with their spouse, Dave, and their ornery mascot, Sapphire the Siamese.Jaye adores the color orange, reading urban fantasy and cozy mysteries, and will talk your ear off about lots of random trivia.They are available to hire for proofreading, developmental editing, pre-publishing editing (including layout and best-practices feedback), sensitivity reading for invisible disabilities and mental illnesses, and copyediting.

Proofreading

Spelling, grammar, punctuation, funny wording, run-on and fragment sentences. It’s what your writing looks like when you get it back from a creative writing or English teacher.

  • Game Content: 3 cents / word (min. $60)

  • Non-game Content: 3 cents / word (min. $30)

Pre-publishing Review

Proofreading + suggestions on how to improve readability and clarity with the eye of a consumer. This may include fonts, kerning and leading, colors, text boxes, images, or other project elements.

  • Game Content: 5 cents / word (min. $75)

  • Non-game Content: 4 cents / word (min. $20)

Sensitivity Reading

I am able to read content and provide a written or verbal consultation on the following topics: mental illnesses (anxiety disorders, chronic or acute depression, PTSD, and others), phobias, ableism/disability, femme/woman characters, non-binary characters, and asexuality.

  • 10 cents per word (min. $50)

  • Discord or phone consultation on your content's ableism, disability, or asexuality themes: $50 for 30 minutes increments
